The Justice Party may not be able to win at the state and national level(at least initially), but we could make a big impact at the local level. The way that this can be accomplished is by utilizing the Liberty Districts Concept. In short, when you control real estate, you can control your destiny. See link below for more info.

This is an interesting idea.  I'd be curious to see suggestions for how to set this in motion.  Given how challenging it typically is to motivate people to support a new political cause en masse in even minor ways, I would expect it to be extremely difficult to motivate them to actually relocate their homes en masse.

Was this idea ever tried in any part of the country (or world)? Or is there more information about it?  I'm having trouble researching this.

Thanks for your reply, Morris. It actually has been tried, not at the county level per se although there are clearly examples of this in some instances(various religious sects as an example). The Free State Project has made an attempt to get individuals en masse to move to New Hampshire. They were shooting for the thousands, but I don't believe they ever mustered more than a couple of hundred individuals/families. A religious movement(conservative Christian) some years back attempted to do the same thing---trying to get like-minded folks to move to South Carolina. Limited success there as well. Interestingly, I tried to convince the Free Staters to concentrate their forces in certain towns and counties, but surprisingly, they expressed little interest. Personally, I believe it goes a long way in explaining why their movement is a largely marginal one.

Additional thoughts---it seems the Liberty District concept is more popular with religious groups, but it clearly has a place for political groups., particularly Third Parties such as the Justice Party. At the Democratic Underground forum I am attempting to get Clinton Democrats to use it. Tried networking with them in California. Had over 80 individuals read my post, but to date, no reply. Made a post at the national level and we'll see how that goes. This concept more than likely has a better chance to work with third parties because typically third party individuals are more committed to their ideals in my view generally speaking.
