Is the template currently being used on this site the official color and thematic scheme for the party, or is this an interrim theme only?

I like the scale of justice logo, and I hope some form of that logo will become the iconic symbol for the party.  It is the perfect idiom for an organization called "Justice."

The reason I ask is that those of us who might want to start external groups supporting the party may want to fashion their own sites to reflect the official scheme, and use the logo (by permission of course) to indicate strong affiliation with the party.

Fundraising organizations and party caucuses may want to have their own sites at some point.  OTOH, I don't know if these might violate some basic tenant of the party.   Feedback and direction on this would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to answer some of the questions...

>Is the template currently being used on this site the official color and thematic scheme for the party, or is this an interrim theme only?

No. The colors I selected for the main site and the forum are temporary. They were selected purely so that I could concentrate on fixing the forum and the site.
We had a discussuon on the listserve concerning colors, branding and logos. I produced some example designs. I had to place all of it on hold while my attention has been on fixing the website/forum and donation system. I plan to return to this task.

For now, I would probably use some generic justice scale. This is what I have done at http://justicepartyct.org/.
However, I will be ready to change over to new logos and color once the party has ratified it.

Professional designers are encouraged to step forward.

I feel a certain disconnect with the Party leadership here.

The listservs are the only way, currently and for the foreseeable future, to stay in contact with party leadership decisions.   But there is no clear way to get on these lists.

Meanwhile, decisions such as these are being made without popular (party member) input?

There is some kind of misunderstanding or lack of communication going on.  I think it behooves the party to get the communication channels open before making decisions which could be exclusive of general membership input.

This is not clearly explained.

Once you do the steps here, David will ask you if you want to join the lists:

There is also a state telephone call each week. That should be on the events page.

Thanks,
