I would love to see Oregon become prominent in the Justice Party standing, and feel we have a fertile ground for getting established here, with the progressive nature of both Eugene and Portland communities. What are the issues important to us here?

As far as State roles in general, could a more sustainable political movement be established in focusing on state or local ballot positions? They are the low-hanging fruit as far as developing grass-roots support, and can build towards the Presidential level in the future, with more awareness and records to build off of, more diversity in the discussion.

What will Oregon contribute with this?

I am from Oregon originally.

Oregon usually has a fair mind. I think Rocky can do well in Portland and even Seattle.

I've lived in Portland and Seattle, and I can attest to that.   Yes, western OR and WA are fertile ground for progressive parties.
Cooperation, coordination, and clarity are essential to creating a political party based on equality. Cliches and equivocations will not move this or any other party forward.
